Yalikani Miti is a young Zambian grassroots politician, youth advocate, and community organizer based in Chipata, Eastern Province. He is contesting the August 2026 local government elections as a candidate for Councillor of Kanjala Ward in the Chipata Central Constituency. He previously contested a council seat during the 2021 general elections under the People's Alliance for Change (PAC) ticket. Over the years, he has built a distinct local profile as an active participant in regional civic platforms, working closely under the guidance of national youth mobilization networks like the Youth4Parliament (Y4P) movement
