He officially filed his nominations under the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) as part of the broader Tonse Alliance framework, positioning himself as a modern, youth-centric, and non-tribal leader focused entirely on issue-based community progress.

Silumesi Malumo possesses an exceptional academic and professional foundation that underscores his strategic capabilities in communication, public relations, and administrative management. He completed his secondary school education at Kabompo High School, building a deep, personal connection to the region's localized challenges right from his youth. Committed to higher education as a vehicle for public advocacy, he went on to graduate from The University of Zambia (UNZA), earning his bachelor's qualification. His extensive training at the nation's premier university provided him with the analytical, research, and governance frameworks he leverages today to champion district-wide development and negotiate with both domestic and international investors.
Priorities
At the absolute center of Silumesi Malumo's platform is a comprehensive blueprint for rural industrialization, infrastructural upgrades, and educational relief. Aiming to move Kabompo away from solely rain-fed agriculture, his primary priority is securing partnerships with investors to equip local farmers with modern irrigation systems, while working to construct mini-processing plants for mealie meal and cooking oil. On the grassroots front, he has already pledged to fund the completion of the Litoya Community Clinic and has adopted Mukwa Community School to personally cover fees for financially vulnerable children, alongside commitments to channel a significant portion of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) directly into fixing the district's deteriorating road networks.
