Rose Sakala is a young Zambian youth activist and politician contesting the August 2026 local government elections. She is running as a candidate for Councillor of Mkowe Ward in the Kasenengwa Constituency (Kasenengwa District). Backed by local youth-centric endorsements pushing for leadership renewal under the banner "Lekeni ama youths bengile" (Let the youth take over/enter), she represents the rising generation of grassroots leaders in Kasenengwa.
