About
Donald Mwenda is a prominent young Zambian political activist and youth leader based in Kabwe. He originally launched a highly visible campaign as an independent parliamentary candidate for the Kabwe Central Constituency. However, to foster local unity, he subsequently withdrew his independent candidacy to re-join and support the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND) ticket and President Hakainde Hichilema. He is locally recognized as a vocal, grassroots reformer who campaigns under a platform of "People Power."
