Gift Jones Nkhuwa is a young Zambian community development professional, case manager, and political candidate contesting the August 2026 local government elections. He has officially filed his nomination papers to run as the candidate for Councillor of Masupe Ward in the Chipata District (Eastern Province). He is running under the ticket of the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRP). Outside of elective politics, he works in the humanitarian sector as a Case Manager for the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZECAPIII).
