About
Chisala Joseph Chama (popularly known as Umwana Wachifyalilwa) is a dedicated civic leader and the political head of the Chembe Town Council. As a passionate advocate for grassroots development, he works closely with traditional leaders, government ministries, and local communities to transform Chembe into a thriving, self-sustaining district.
Priorities
Infrastructure Development: Direct tracking and personal inspection of local development projects, including water-crossing infrastructure and accessibility routes such as the Chipete area in Kapwepwe Ward.Youth Representation: Active commitment as a young civic leader to demonstrating that the youth can passionately and effectively run local government and serve the Zambian people.Community Engagement: Regularly conducting courtesy calls, physical site monitoring, and field visits to collaborate directly with residents and assess grassroot needs.
